The Canadian media company Lions Gate Entertainment Corporation acquired the movie theater, video and TV rights to the BBC Worldwide/Greenlight Media theatrical film production Earth for the next 25 years for the regions of Great Britain, Ireland and the Commonwealth, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
